The virtual edition will take place from 23rd to 29th November 2020 and the physical edition is rescheduled to November 2021
Bangkok, Thailand, 8th Sep 2020 – IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd and Deutsche Messe AG, the organisers of CEBIT ASEAN Thailand 2020 – have decided to go virtual for its 2020 edition, to take place in the digital sphere, from 23rd to 29th November this year.
With concerns for the safety of exhibitors and attendees, and considering the business continuity needs of the tech and digital industry, the organizers have taken this decision after in-depth consultations with key industry players.
Given the fact that international and regional travel restrictions are still in place, along with the mandatory 14-day quarantine requirements, it is almost impossible to hold an international physical trade exhibition. Therefore, the industry has suggested an alternative industry- gathering platform, in the form of a virtual event called CEBIT ASEAN Thailand 2020 virtual edition.
CEBIT ASEAN Thailand 2020 virtual edition aims to provide a highly effective digital platform for buyers, sellers and all stakeholders in the tech and digital sector to continue to stay in touch, network and do business in these difficult times. Through this digital platform and touchpoint, the market will gather, and connect for the conduct of business activities and knowledge exchanges, over the course of 7-days.
CEBIT ASEAN Thailand 2020 virtual edition will feature virtual exhibitor booth showcases, interactive live one-to-one chat and video platforms, virtual business matching, free to attend webinars, and live streaming, allowing exhibitors to reach out to their targeted customer and on-line attendees.
In addition to offering alternative on-line marketing solutions for exhibitors, this virtual edition also serves as a knowledge exchange platform, through the conduct of a series of webinars in collaboration with Thailand’s leading digital media platform “Techtalkthai.com”, covering topics and discussions on technology, digital trends and strategies.
CEBIT ASEAN Thailand 2020 virtual edition is supported by leading tech and digital organizations, including the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand, Software Park Thailand, just to name a few.
